Positive: The villa was spacious and the garden was lush.

Negative: There was an issue with the drains which meant that one of the bathrooms in our villa had a strong smell like sewage. In the other bed there was an ant infestation. We went to reception many times to complain about the smell and each time they would send someone to put something down the drain but unfortunately the smell would then return later the same day. Apparently it's been an issue with the building since its inception. The pool also looked a bit dirty so we didn't use it.

Positive: Location is perfect, easy walking distance to a couple of beautiful beaches and lots of nice little eateries around the area. The resort itself is just lovely, the houses are just wonderful, excellent for families, really spacious and spotlessly clean, the staff are super kind and friendly and always on hand to help with anything. Will definitely return on our next visit to Khao Lak.

Summary: Perfect spot, location is excellent, the resort is delightful and the staff were incredibly kind.

Positive: It was a nice place for a group share. Spacious - well equipped. Quiet and secure.

Negative: Pool area wasn't great but we swam at the beach. It isn't new or particularly well kept but it did a good job at the price point and we enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Staff, especially manager, very helpful. Rooms large and good fans, air conditioning. Peaceful setting.

Negative: Safety standards: the first floor balconies very unsafe for the children, too easy for them to slip through the open railings and fall. the doors from the bedrooms onto the balconies had very inadequate locks. This was a worry throughtout our stay. Generally, the place is in need of some renovation. A little more equipment in each house would be good. Some facilities listed on Booking. Com were absent.

Summary: Very pleasant, but property needs updating especially safety standards.

Positive: Easy check in. Property manager was very helpful and easy to speak to. Place is generally clean with sufficient amenities.

Negative: There is no hair dryer. The outside area not as well maintained as interiors.

Positive: Spacious, very clean, and excellent response from staff when needed something. Also, housekeeping provided daily if needed.

Negative: The couch is very hard, not comfortable to relax. The smell from the toilet and shower drain was pretty bad in one of the bedrooms, maybe only a problem in unit C5. We reported to the staff who put some stuff to fix the odour but didn't work.
